Collection: Candle care

How to ensure you have the best candle burning experience with your new robertson+fille candle.

Trim wick to 1/4” prior to lighting. It is essential to burn your candle long enough to achieve a full melt pool each time. On average, 3-4 hours, depending on your vessels diameter. Doing this will ensure little wax hangup around sides + tunneling. If smoking occurs, it is due to carbon accumulating on wick(s) Blow out, better yet, extinguish with a candle snuffer. (see candle accessories) trim wick to 1/4”. re-light once wax re-sets.

Exceeding a 4 hour burn time is not recommended.

WARNING: Not following these instructions may result in fire, property damage or personal injury. Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects. Never leave a candle unattended. Use your candle on a stable, heat resistant surface. Never leave debris on the wax. Maximum burn time of 4 hours. Do not move the candle when it’s lit.
